Alzheimer’s Module Description: Using a bio-medical perspective, this module is designed to provide up-to-date evidence based data for multi-disciplinary health care practitioners, geriatric support personnel, and administrators this module presents definitions, screenings, clinical assessments, and treatments relevant for the diagnosis and management of Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias. Since AD and Related Dementias are complex and require interdisciplinary treatment an additional segment has been added emphasizing the roles of social work and nursing. Completion of this module will enable health care providers and others to design better treatment plans and inform clients and caregivers in the management of Alzheimer's Disease.
